Hi Everyone,

Ron DeMann update. Treatments continue, continued prayers appreciated.
 

Sadly another classmate has passed away.  Richard J. Offringa, age 69, went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 27, 2023. Rich will be remembered for his love for his family and for missions. He generously supported various mission causes, not only financially, but also by using his talents as a carpenter. He will also be remembered by those who benefited from his building skills of over 50 years with Breton Builders. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marilyn Offringa, and two brothers, Larry and Ken. Rich will be lovingly remembered by his sister and brothers, Linda and Charlie Litton, Roger and Deb Offringa, Dave and Mindy Offringa, and Jeff Offringa; as well as many nieces and nephews. Honoring Rich's request, a private family committal service has taken place at Winchester Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Bethany United Reformed Church, 5401 Byron Center Ave. SW, on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Eric Van Der Molen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
